Philanthropy Playbook

 

We started Max Solution with a goal to create a different type of company. Our vision was to build a different working environment, a different sales model, different services model to customers, and a different philanthropic model (integrated into the for-profit corporation from the very beginning). Each of these ideas emanated from our disenchantment with the traditional manner in which things were done.

 

The cofounders of Max Solution were recptive to the idea of building a business that simultaneously gave back to the community. We all shared the philosophy that the value of corporation should be distributed not only to its leadership but also to the communities in which it operates and to the country.

 

The 1 Model

Conjunction with Malaysia Prime Minister 1 Malaysia concept, Max Solution used a unique model of integrated philanthropy, designed to grow with the company. Our 1 Model disseminates a portion (certain percentage) of the financial and our yearly nett profit of the organization to those most in need:

 

1Donation

Yearly, we will give out certain percentage of our nett profit to those needed. This basically become an yearly event, which our people (sports club) organizing and managing the funds. Since 2005 till date, we continuously contribute to the communities.

 

1Time

Not only donations, our company participates in some of the event organized by non-profit organization, helping those needed. Our employees bring their families and friends to help out - something we encourage. Time spent for this is also within company working hours.

 

1Fun

By doing the above, it is also a great way to get to know the communities, know the people work with (employees, business partners or even customers), and its rewarding to see that can make an immediate impact.

 

We believe that all businesses can and should help make the world a better place. We also believe there are rich rewards in doing so. Max Solution strongly encourage its business partners, customers following the foot steps by giving back to the communities, make this world a better place.
